These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between MFD Advisory, LLC and its affiliates (together, “MFD,” “MFD Advisory,” “our,” “us” or “we”) and you, the user of www.mfdadvisory.com and/or www.mfdacademy.org (the “Sites”). By accessing the Sites, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not access the Sites.
MFD Advisory may amend these Terms of Use at its sole discretion. Changes are posted on this page and take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Sites after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms, so please review this page each time you visit the Sites.
The Sites are offered to and available for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using the Sites, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract with MFD Advisory. If you do not meet these requirements, you must not access or use the Sites.
Purpose of the Sites; not investment advice; no recommendations
The information on or available through the Sites (the “Content”) is provided solely for informational purposes in relation to MFD Advisory and its consulting work. MFD Advisory does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any Content. Any reliance you place on the Content is strictly at your own risk, and MFD Advisory disclaims all liability and responsibility arising from any reliance placed on it by you or any other visitor to the Sites, or by anyone who may be informed of any of its contents.
The Sites are not intended to provide legal, business, tax, accounting, investment or other advice, and you agree not to construe any Content as such advice. The Content does not constitute, and shall not be deemed to constitute, an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security or similar investment. None of the Content is a recommendation that you or any other person purchase, sell or hold any security, company, investment product or similar investment, or pursue any investment strategy, and it is not to be relied upon for making investment or other decisions. All Content is published without consideration of your individual circumstances, financial or otherwise. Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy applies to www.mfdadvisory.com and www.mfdacademy.org and describes what information we collect through the Sites and how we use it. By using the Sites, you consent to the data practices described here.
Information you provide
We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it to us. This includes:
- the content of emails you send us, including your name, email address and any other details you include; and
- the details used to sign in to an MFD Academy account, such as your name, email address and password.
How we use your information
We use the personal information you provide to:
- respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request;
- operate MFD Academy accounts and send notices about your account;
- carry out our obligations and enforce our rights under any agreement between you and us, including billing and collection;
- tell you about changes to the Sites or to our services; and
- any other purpose described when you provide the information, or with your consent.
We may also use your contact details to tell you about other services offered by MFD Advisory and its affiliates.
Sharing your information
We do not sell, rent or lease your personal information to third parties. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Sites and our business, such as our website host and email provider. These providers may use your information only to provide services to us and must keep it confidential.
We may disclose your personal information without notice if required to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that doing so is necessary to (a) comply with the law or with legal process served on us, (b) protect and defend our rights or property, or (c) protect the personal safety of users of the Sites or the public.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Sites, your browser sends standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, access times and the address of the page that referred you. This information is received by our website host, Cloudflare, which keeps server logs used to operate and secure the Sites.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and page views. It does not use cookies or identify individual visitors. We use this information only to operate the Sites, maintain their quality and security, and understand general usage.
Cookies
The Sites do not use cookies.
Deleting your information
You may ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@mfdadvisory.com. We will do so, and will direct our service providers to do the same, unless we need to keep the information to complete a service you requested, to meet a legal obligation, or to protect against fraud or other illegal activity.
Children under 18
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are under 18, you may not use the Sites.
Email communications
From time to time we may email you with announcements, alerts, confirmations, surveys or other general communications. To improve our services, we may receive a notification when you open an email from us or click a link in it. To stop receiving marketing emails from us, email unsubscribe@mfdadvisory.com.
Data storage
We may store your information on servers provided by third-party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.
Changes to this policy
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when our services, our data protection practices or the law change. If we make significant changes, we will let you know by email to the address on your account, by a notice on the Sites, or by updating this page. Your continued use of the Sites after any change constitutes your acknowledgment of, and agreement to, the updated policy.
